Clear Quartz - this most abundant mineral in the earth’s crust is sometimes (and in other languages) also called Mountain Quartz.
As a healing crystal Clear Quartz can be considered the master of crystals as in it’s purest (clear) form it easily adapts itself to the energy that it is applied to. We can therefore use Clear Quartz on all the seven chakras (literally chakra translates as ‘wheel’ and is an energy center) and on any part of the body.
Clear Quartz is an energy amplifier and can be used in conjunction with most other crystals to enhance their energies. Naturally Clear Quartz will clear the environment that it is kept in or placed on.
In general a pointed crystal will direct energy in the direction it is pointed in whereas rounded, tumbled polished pieces will emanate the energy around them.
Clear Quartz points can be used to aid clarity of direction, in life or even literally during travelling.
Wearing a clear quartz point assists us in keeping our own energy field clear, vibrant and healthy, which then works as a natural filter to keep unwanted energies out.

To ‘program’ your Clear Quartz crystal it is important to have a clear mind (or as clear as possible). Make sure the crystal is both physically and energetically clean. Hold the crystal in both hands (if it has a point please point it up, unless you feel intuitively guided to point it downwards) and keep it in front of or against your third eye in the center of the forehead. Feel, think, imagine and speak your intention into the crystal.
