✧ Rose Quartz ✧ Wand
Rose Quartz is commonly known as the crystal of unconditional love and in many ways this is a true statement. This crystal has such a loving and comforting power that whoever carries it is likely to experience these qualities. However it needs to be recognized that Rose Quartz does aid in releasing emotional stress from the heart chakra. In times of emotional trauma or in situations where emotional stress has not been able to be released Rose Quartz may cause a reaction. In that case an additional grounding stone like a Hematite or a Lodestone may be required. Some people may need the nurturing and grounding qualities of a piece of Jasper, while others may do well with the balancing and lightly grounding energies of Agate (particularly children).
Overall Rose Quartz would be one of the first crystals in a beginner’s crystal collection. Some males may resent the colour but pendants can be worn underneath clothing or when used as a tumbled stone it can be placed near the body during sleep.
The best position is to have it near the chest, or to hold it in the more receptive hand (for most people this is the left hand).
